Our company, A.C. Diam Bv was established in 1997 by Mr. Arvind C. Shah, as a manufacturer and
distributor of rough and polished diamonds. In 2003 Mr. Amit A. Shah joined the company.
We are genuine manufacturers of rough diamonds and polished marketers.

Today, we are in top 50 companies dealing in rough from Belgium. We are closely associated for our
manufacturing activities with Ankit Gems Private Limited, who is a D.T.C - sight holder and based in India
and parent company of Armaan Diam DMCC that is located in U.A.E.

We are a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council. From 2 December 2011 we were successfully
granted RJC Certification. This means that we were audited and we are in compliance with all the RJC
Rules and Regulations.

A.C. Diam Bv seeks to maintain its reputation in the Diamond & Jewellery industry. It was founded on

A Provenance Claim is a claim, made through the use of descriptions or symbols, relating to Diamonds,
Synthetics, Gold and/or Platinum Group Metals that are offered for sale, whether as stand-alone
materials or set in jewellery, and specifically relate to their:

  • Origin - Geographical origin of material, for example country, region, mine or corporate ownership of the Mining Facility/ies ; and/ or.
  • Source - Type of source, for example recycled, mined, artisanal mined, Synthetic, or date of production; and/or
  • Practices - Practices applied in the supply chain relevant to the Code of Practices, including but not limited to, conditions of extraction, processing or manufacturing, conflict-free status, or due diligence towards sources..

Provenance Claims may also relate to origin, sources or practices that are specifically excluded from the supply chain, such as through a ‘negative warranty’.

As a certified member of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC), A.C. Diam BV seeks economic, social and environmental benefits from its business activities in order to contribute to sustainable development. As part of our commitment to responsible sourcing, we are now working with our suppliers to understand their sources of supply and due diligence procedures for managing risks in their supply chain.

As such, we adhere to RJC’s principles and have adopted various policies that support the achievement of the RJC code of Practices. We are therefore committed to conduct our business to a high ethical standard, and to ensure integrity, transparency and conformance with applicable law.

Under the new 2019 RJC’s Code of Conduct, we are required to undertake a risk-based due diligence to identify, assess, prevent and mitigate risks in our supply chain. This due diligence is based on the established OECD five-step framework for a responsible supply chain of minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. This due diligence seeks to eliminate the worst human rights abuses from our entire supply-chain, an effort in which I am sure you will join us wholeheartedly.

A.C. Diam BV does business with many types of third party including, but not limited to contractors, agents, suppliers, logistics, law and advisory firms.This policy sets out A.C. Diam Bv’s commitments in doing business with third parties in order to mitigate the risks of bribery, corruption, money laundering, fraud and violation to human rights, risks that the Company is exposed to in its relations with third parties.

This policy extends not only to A.C. Diam Bv employees, but to third parties with which it does business.
